Fack, can't believe the number of flight cancellations, delays the past 2 weeks here in the east!
Anyways rerouted through Halifax, had 3 nice beers at the Firkin in the airport.
Bretton brewers from Cape Breton, and this from Garrison Brewers IMG_20190509_174950.jpg

Also, since GLB is quite popular here, they have Juno Beach brew honouring our soldiers, soon to be released. I visited Juno beach in 2015, unbelievable the sacrifice the young men of all nations exhibited that day.

I must get me some of that.

Walked the beaches during a 2011 trip. Had a lump in my throat the entire day fighting back tears.

    Edit:

**IMPORTANT** Due to the overwhelming demand for tonight's release of Juno Beach First Wave Lager, in support of @queensownrifles, this beer will NOT be available to the public.
Queen's Own Rifles have reserved cases for members (past & present) of Canada's Military - and it's now sold out
While it saddens me I won’t be able to sample this brew, i’m okay with this batch going to the troops. Bravo GLB.

What else to do when you have a 3 hour flight delay, but to check out the in Terminal outlet here in Halifax . 10-15 different craft brewers, hard to choose what to take home.

Well, you take 10-15 different beers that you can’t get here, duh. At least that’s what I would do.

    What are you Drinking!!

Had this one while out for dinner with the fam in Lewiston, NY. It was very good, but I’m still confused. It’s a New England IPA but it’s dark! Mind blown!

PS. The sign in the background says ‘Drink good beer, live good life’. Words I live by

Forgot to post this earlier. Some food trucks are also at Celebration Square in Mississauga today but no beer at that location.
