It was good - tasted like a more traditional ale. A little toned down compared to the recent brews I've had. Picked up 3 from this brewery (they had them at Junction Craft).

I've wondered if Golden Beach was worth trying or if it's a little pedestrian?

I actually liked it- initial taste was similar to something like a collective arts IPA with slight bitterness . Easy drinking beer, feels light. Only complaint was it wasn’t boozy enough after drinking one.

I think I am becoming a bit of a beer snob, ( or my tastes are maturing!), if a beer doesn't have some bite or exceptional flavour, they seem to taste like water.
Had Mill Street Organic last night, tasted flat like a Coors Light to me.
