Was down visiting family in Crystal Beach and the wife and I dropped into the Brimstone Brewing Co. It's located in a former church in Ridgeway. We have been there a couple times before... this time I had a 'manly man's beer'... a Midnight Mass Chicory Oatmeal Stout and the Missus had a Enlightenment Blonde Ale. We also shared a delicious charcuterie app...
Oh yeah....was also tapping that Flying Monkey's Juicy Ass...

I have passed this brewer (StoneHooker)over the last couple of months, on Lakeshore just east of Cawthra.
Dropped by tonight, they have been open about 4 months, nice cosy tap room to sample.
Trying the Sou Wester IPA, nice citrus flavour.

Put my order in at the local wine shop last week. She is doing me up a batch of whisky barrel cabernet. And we are trying to do a spiced cider. Aim for a 3 sweet with cinnamon and brown sugar. And will have her infuse with a Mickey of spiced rum just before it gets carbonated and put in the keg.
We both have high hopes for it. Will see in 2.5 months how it turns out. .
