Glad you enjoyed it. Which would you pick between the BigHead Amber versus the Farmstead Ale (yellow and white can from the LCBO)?

    What are you Drinking!!

I actually like this amber more- surprisingly . It’s quite tasty with the caramel and I tend to shy away from darker brews .It’s odd LCBO doesn’t sell this one along side farmstead ale.
I definitely have to go to Badlands Brewery. Is that actually close to the site ( Badlands) and the bridge or observation platform they just built? Or they just use the name?

The BigHead Amber is definitely small batch and done on rotation so they don't make enough to supply LCBO. I think it's specific hops too so they only make when the get the right hops for it.

Badlands is close to Hwy 10 and King Rd (5 mins west) so not exactly at the Badlands but 10 minutes away.

For brownie points, bring the High Commander along for the drive up Hwy 410/Hwy 10, stop at Badlands farm, then head to Spirit Tree Cidery for lunch at their bistro (she can try their apple and pear ciders), stop in at GoodLot farm, stop in at Ray's in Alton for dessert, then drive through Forks of the Credit and head home. They're all 10 minutes apart from each other.

This Ron! Got me to Badlands! Spirit Tree also has a great bakery and restaurant.

    Tasting is not full pints......

Sample at Badlands > lunch at Spirit Tree > sample at Goodlot > dessert at Ray's 3rd Generation bakery > Forks of the Credit > Home.

^^^There's your Saturday afternoon drive - then tell High Commander that good things happen when you come to WNNOTC (you'll get you pass renewed).
