I used to drink a lot of shandy and "lager top" (like a shandy but just a 'top-up' of lemon into a full beer rather than something closer to a 50:50 mix) when I lived in England. There was just something great about sitting on a patio at a pub, drinking shandy in the sun. Especially when the sun virtually never came out over there!

That's basically what I was doing in Munich - there is a large public park there with a restaurant with a nice patio so we'd sit out and enjoy the wheat beer/lemonade shandy mixture. Awesome.

I didn't mention, we would often make 'turbo' shandy ... beer with Schmirnof Ice added. so not really "fruit" per se. lol

The Austrians make great Brews. I only have Radlers in the warm weather and I really wish some would hurry the fck up and get here!
