Hope the new plastic film on the cheap aluminum holds up better than the curtain plates

I think this version is made from something other than aluminum - at least that's what Dougie was saying when the idea was first dreamed up, in a bar no doubt, right after a buck a beer, and maybe on a napkin, shortly after happy hour...lol damn there's the Don Cherry Canadian thing again...I'm such a hosser (I'm sure there are other adjectives one may inject here) but that's another story! "open for business" yah! that was another buck a beer dream! Be cool now if one could go online and design and order their own plate around the layout parameters and maybe put their own personal touch or logo on it!!

Complaints rolling in that the new plates are un-readable at night due to glare at certain angles from headlights, city lights, well all light really LOL. And people that don't care about reading them are just complaining about the glare in general

Is is just me... or is this something that should be tested before releasing to the public?

Saw a couple out in the wild last week. They look like something that belongs in a cartoon like Cars.
