Proper venting and Catch cans ???

Planning to install a roots blower on my 306. Trying to find information on proper venting and catch can location, type and quantity

I would think the catch can would replace the pvc system and could be mounted anywhere - also research and good quality oil with a high heat threshold and sheer factor, with 8 - 10 quarts...sounds like a cool build!

Thanks, I have been researching like crazy but don’t want to make any hasty decisions.
I have an 8 quart oil pan, using a filter relocation with an oil cooler. Probably totalling 8.5-9 quarts of oil

That was my understanding as well, due to the blower. Do you have a recommendation as to catch can brand, placement and quantity?

I've seen hot rod guys pretty much mount them anywhere (firewall inner quarter) a good accessible area and some even just vent to the atmosphere... shh! - but that's not always the best - others may chime in but the real key is good oil with a high heat threshold and keep crank case pressure down - is this on the Maverick...?

We've opted to use a check valve on the PCV system and delete the valve itself with no oil control issues what so ever. Enough restriction on the valve itself to properly meter vac but closes tight n keeps boost pressure where it belongs vs pcv system under boost.

We use an inline valve similar to this from McMastercarr (sorry don't recall part number).
