Gears...really what else needs to be changed?

So eventually I want to do a 3.73 gear in my GT500, currently has a 3.31 and the gears are way too long. If the rear end currently makes no noise, car only has 61k, would I be fine just changing the gear and fluid? I'm thinking normally if you leave these rear ends alone they are good for 200k without anything really wearing or failing.

Thoughts? I don't want to change parts for the sake of changing things.....

Any reputable shop (sponsors) will only swap what’s required and they won’t know until it's taken apart.

Don’t fear the gear...I would consider 3.90 if it was mine due to the tall rear tires and 6spd.

I would leave the 3.31 to be honest. I put a Shelby 3.31 in my 2011. When boosted you don't need so much gear. take your first gear ratio x your rear gear ratio get as close to 10 as possible.
