NO, you Lunatic!! you don't mix compounds!
least it's no advisable for the track (maybe street is okay if you're not driving like a Lunatic... but I get the feeling that's not you!) LOL jk
but regardless, your rears will wear out much quicker than the fronts as the 'R's' are a much softer compound... better for traction sure, but for lessor period of time, we don't need you whining about tires every two months Sir!
Guess 555's are gonna be it then. Thanks for everyones much needed and appreciated input.
If you are primarily concerned with acceleration grip then yes go with something like the 555R on the back. They mix fine with regular 555 up front as long as you're not pushing really hard through corners. Although the 555R is a softer compound, it also has sidewalls designed for maximizing straight line traction as opposed to other "all-around" performance tires being made for cornering stability.
I think the only way his car is going to see the track is if his wife grabs the keys!! I don't know if Mav has it in him!! *runs and hides*
LMFAO....I have tears in my eyes...LMFAO....Fuck, JUST FELL OFF CHAIR!!!
I'm still laughing....thats the best one yet GR!! ...still laughing!!!
I run 345s on my Shelby, but I had to get custom rims and do some body mods. I will post some pics later tonight
