More options in a 345/30/19 as well. I believe that Chevy put that size on late model Z06 and Dodge used this size for the Viper. However, Heinz is the only one I can think of running that size tire and I cannot advise if they will poke on an S550. Definitely won’t fit an S197 without serious modifications.

Viper also had a 12" rim though which helps. For the Vette do you mean the brand new c8? I don't think last gen had wires that tide...

Was just going to say for that tire size to work properly it should be on a 12-13" wide wheel, not jammed on an 11 or 11.5".

Here's what I'd like on my GT500....when the time comes. Have them currently and they hook nice...in the warm weather.

I would have to agree. 12” wide rim should be the minimum for that size in a 19” 30 series tire. I believe that my 325 rears are the maximum width that should be installed on a 11” rim.

Funny, several of the top rated tires I honestly would not give you a nickle for.

How about a 295 front and 305 rear, that’s what I have on my R spec wheels.
Tires are a bit stretched but I like it and it works on this car.
The R wheel already sticks out of the fenders about 1/2” so depending on the tire manufacturer going to a 325 may be a bit much.
Here are some pics, or you can come by and check it out , it may change your mind.
This is on the oem GT350 super sport tires

Never mind, just remembered that you will need a 30 series tire.
That probably wouldn’t work on the R spec rims.

    295/35R19 ... wheel width range 10.0 - 11.5"
    305/35R19 ... wheel width range 10.0 - 12.0"

so those are OK, just maxed out (I'm assuming those wheels are the same widths as factory 350R)
