    Question 2020 Camaro LT1

I was wondering about everyone's thoughts on the new Camaro LT1. The idea of a bare bones Camaro reminds me of old fox body mentality. Big engine and no options.
I love everything about my 18 GT as a daily except the MT-82... It bothers me that my 20 year old T-56 in my C5 feels better than my new MT-82. The Tremec manual 6 speed is stock in the Camaro...

    Thoughts?

The 2018 GTs are great cars. Maybe an MGW shifter would solve the MT-82 issues.

I love the idea and I’m glad they’re doing it. I don’t like the interior or outward visibility of the Camaro, but if you can get past that they’re a great performer and a bargain for what you’re getting.

GT350 Tranny swap?? Probably not feasible but just thought I'd bring it up, as it's a great transmission Tremec TR-3160

MGW shifter seems to be the answer. If you don't want to spend that much I would look into maybe trying one of the transmission braces. Full Tilt Boogie racing and other companies make a brace. I believe the brace from FTB is around $90 plus shipping.
Here's a video of a before and after of the brace... big difference and not breaking the bank.

And if you still aren't happy... a camaro would be an amazing car too!

Couldn’t agree more! Best mod I have ever done on my 17 GT by far! The MGW really transforms the way the car drives and feels. I know it sounds crazy but it even makes the car feel quicker.

Try the MGW and your opinion of the MT82 will greatly improve.

No doubt for the divorced shifter applications, MGW has it nailed.
For the T56/T5 etc style trans, would not give you a wooden nickle for one. Removed from my own car after single days use n went back to Pro50
Interesting product from FTB, given how anal he is about his products and how they work, can bet it's a win.
