I had no trouble shifting my s550 thought it was fantastic, drove it like I stole it - if my shifts where off, and somedays they where - it was me being tired and out of sinc a hair not the shifter...

IMG_0880.jpg I have it in my 2014 GT and it is night and day. The service tech that did the airbag recall got in the car and noticed it right away. He said that it felt amazing compared to stock.

sorry guys if I upset anyone - please don't take this comment the wrong way - the s550 is night and day to my 40yr old fox 4spd and I never blamed it either when I missed (blame it for randomly coming out of fourth tho...lol) My forty year old fox was night and day to my 50yr old mopar 4spds. and I never blamed them either when I missed and a clutch back then was a 2 legger - I never blame always adjust myself - If I tried something new and it was an improvement and I seen a advantage to it, I would compliment it - in my opinion the s550 was fantastic the way it is and not many changes to the drive train would of improved my amateur performances at the autocross more than seat time...just the way I think! If the car looks good, feels good, and gives a tingle in the privates buy it, love it, drive the piss out of it....lol enjoy!

Had the MGW in my 09... made the world of difference. Got rid of 3ed gear lock out and all.

Has anyone had any significant seat time in the current Camaro SS vs a 18+ GT?

In regards to MGW I bought one for my C5 last year and absolutely love it. If I end up staying in a GT I will look at adding the brace and the MGW shifter.

DELZZZ, you only need the MGW shifter. No additional bracket is required as it mounts right to the transmission.

Well, I was made an offer that I just couldn't refuse. I will be driving a 19 1SS for the next few years. After I get some seat time I plan on writing a review between my (former) 18 GT vs the 19 1SS. Both cars are awesome and I'm lucky to have owned both.
