    timing retard Q for boosted 302

    I'm swapping over to MegaSquirt and coil over plugs on my pushrod 302

    I formerly had a MSD 6BTM with a manual timing retard switch. Since there's no knock sensor I'm thinking another form of manual retard might be a good thing.

    Does anyone have experience or suggestions for timing retard with the new set up?

    What kind of boost levels are you making?

    that's to be determined. It's a dart with stout internals topped with a blowzilla but will be intercooled. It'll be mostly a street car that see occasional track use so street manners, safe tune and reliability will be objective. All that to say somewhere between 6-15 PSI I figure.

    You just need to make a safe timing table that pulls timing under boost. Pretty straight forward.
