    Daytime Headlights

I've noticed on my 04 that there is almost no illumination difference between the daytime and night time headlight setting. Is that normal? I could see the difference in all my other vehicles.

Not sure on mine, DRL is always the first thing I disconnect, run parking lights most of the time.

Good to know. Could the issue be a bad headlamp switch? Can't think of anything else that could cause this.

Drl is supposed to be 20% of high beams, so your standard low beams should still be quite a bit brighter.

Noticed the same thing on my son's 03 GT he just picked up(had to plug the drl module back in for safety) very little difference between the brightness of the low beams and drl

I have a switch I installed beside the battery that I can select the DRL Off while at the Drag Track...

I also noticed the difference between DRL was a tiny fraction of change in light output (with halogens). My solution to that was ripping the DRL fuse out. No sense in having the headlights on constantly reducing the lifespan of a good set of halogens or hids. Side markers would stay on when cluster is illuminated as well as fogs so that is more than enough for DRL type lighting.

So what I'm getting so far is this is a normal.
