Can 2007 drilled rotors be machined

Hi everyone. My 2007 Mustang GT brakes need to be replaced. I have drilled rotors and was wondering if anyone knows whether drilled rotors can be machined and who does it. Any recommendations where to buy quality brake pads? Much appreciate any opinions.

I believe that you can from what I read. You can machine or turn rotors that are slotted and drilled but it is "recommended" that you replace the rotors when replacing pads.
    I hope that helps.

Yes they can be machined, many dealerships have an on-car brake lathe like a Pro-Cut, others will have a bench lathe or can send them out. Now, as far as where to buy brake pads? go to your preferred shop and get them there, that way you will have warranty if anything should happen, unless of course you’re doing it yourself.

Thank you Scrape, ZR, Ponyride. I'll have to call around some brake shops to see who can machine them. I think they are still good rotors. Unfortunately my general mechanic, doesn't machine rotors anymore.

We had a machine up till last fall, could not justify the space it took up vs the few number of times we'd used it over the previous couple or three years.
