    Thank you ZR and Zippy...

Today Ol Paint had an appointment with ZR and Zippy. New to me Bilstein shocks and struts, and Ford Motorsports springs were added to control the ride. A Ford Motorsports one piece aluminum drive shaft replaced the stock two piece to get the power to the rear axle. GT500 take off mufflers replaced the fourteen year old Flowmasters, one of which had a baseball sized hole in the top of it. A JLT oil catch can was added to the engine compartment and an oil change was done for good measure. Ol Paint was like a new car on the ride home. Thanks again Rick and Ross.

You'll enjoy those Bilsteins I'm sure. They certainly got the job done in my S197.

No wonder Ol Paint had such a growl. How does it sound with the GT500’s?

I think the sound now matches the look of Ol Paint. Understated with a hint of nasty. And you can hear the Roots howl a little more.
