The last time my wife and I had a real sit down dinner in a restaurant was on March 10 in Florida. We drove back the next day arriving home on the 12th. Next day the province instituted the lockdown.

This past Saturday night, we sat on the outdoor patio at The Lone Star restaurant in Newmarket. They had a limited menu, limited seating, and new rules, like having to give your name and address, but it was still dinner out.
What a pleasure.

After 2 months of lockdown, we were able to go back to work on May 6. However, we hadn't done any advertising whatever, except for Facebook, so we expected it to be slow. It was, for most of May. Then it picked up and as of today we are only down about 10% over last year!
We've reduced our fixed overhead by about $6000 a month, so we should actually have a profitable year. That's certainly abnormal.

And tomorrow we are having dinner(outside on their new stone patio: built by me, of course!) at our close friend's house.

Life is calming down, getting better every day.
