From what I've seen on other peeps rides, key is to find experienced hands that use nothing but high end / won't discolor products.

Any of them that I have seen no matter how low or high the quality will eventually show a dirt line where the film starts/ends.

I’ve always gone to Joe at AMP Motorsport in Concord/Vaughan area. 3 of my cars and both of my brothers cars. They do high end vehicles too and also dealership requests.

Whatever you do, don’t do half cuts. Go for full coverage. Doing a half cut on a hood is silly as most likely a rock will hit the unprotected area.

PPF yes if you want paint protection. Vinyl if you want to change the colour on your car without having to paint. If you don’t like it, tear it off.

XPEL PPF has a gloss finish and a matte finish as well.

Definitely don’t do a half cut.. my buddy had it done on his old ride and like stated above.. 4/5 years later a giant black dirt mark right across the hood.

I had my Jag done last summer. A place called Spa for Cars on Wellington in Aurora. Fair price, excellent work. Without it the little parking lot altercation would have been far worse
