Ceramic Coating and PPF should also be covered by insurance. My wife’s car was covered by insurance after the 2 accidents on her Accord.

Thought I'd revive this thread, & see if anyone else had it done , closer to Ajax would help, there is lots of places but a recommendation would help allot ! a 10 year warranty is not worth a shit if they close their doors in a year or two !!!

I just had my Tiguan done at Amp Motorsports last week. It came out perfect. I went with the Xpel Ultimate Plus film. I am pleased with their work so far.

You could call AMP and ask them if they know reputable shops in your area or they can come to you as they do mobile service as well.

That’s actually how I ended up going to AMP. Called a different shop initially and they recommended me to AMP because they were booked up at the time.

Here are some quick photos of some of the work that was done. I am hard pressed to tell where they applied the product on the vehicle. I literally had to feel for it. Now if only my shoulder would heal I can detail it and seal the paint.

The guy who did my car wrapped it around and into the seam of the joints. You cannot tell where it stops.

So they did custom cuts for you. They told me that these are factory programmed cuts. I am OK with this.

The precuts are fine with me too. It’s so close to the edge that getting a chip or scratch there is highly unlikely. Not sure if the preprogrammed cuts allow for extra to do a wrap around.

Did they have to keep it overnight?

No sir. I told them that I would drive it home and let it sit for 24 hours which I did to be safe.
