Felt a whole bunch like the never ending "make it up as they go" bull crapola Nascar dishes out on a very reg basis.
I don’t think they could do it Monday as there wouldn’t be enough staff at Spa.

I'm not sure why they don't have this contingency like NASCAR - not sure if it's due to travel between countries race to race or ? I was at Silverstone in 2018 for a MotoGP race and it poured - all they had was a BMW M4 and a guy on a bike riding around the track for a few hours before they called the race off completely. Yeah it’s sucks but they don’t own the venues or staff them. The marshals and stewards are just weekend part time jobs for people who have Monday to Friday jobs.

If F1 charged each team 0.05% of their annual budget for occurrences like yesterday, they could cover the costs. If the fund is not used it can be returned at the end of the season.
