    DD brake recommendations.

The mini came up with a brake warning saying to check front pads.

Less than 50,000km since the dealer put brakes on when we bought the car used. Seems early to me but assuming the dealer just put on the cheapest ones they could get.

I know some guys here run. EBC stuff is that fun cars only or good for daily drivers.

Mini has taken over duty for the service truck. (Better on gas and wasn’t looking to buy another new truck right now)

So look g to average 40-45k km per year. Don’t want to be doing a brake job every year.

You guys recommend ebc or stick with proper OEM?

Super happy with performance from EBC reds for street duty on the Mustangs.
Can't comment as to life when used on a daily driver.
On my own daily drivers, use premium aftermarket or OEM pads with a good quality rotor.

With that kind of mileage, once a year brake job may become your normal.
Cant beat OEM pads. Get what you pay for with rotors
Stock engine Fox equipped with the Maximum Motorsports catalog. Now I have lots of Trick Flow stickers.

Hopefully that’s not the case. Lol. Put just over 250000 on the edge and only replaced the brakes twice.

Though I’m probably more “spirited” when I drive the mini

I'm running EBC rotors and red stuff pads on the front of the Mustang for the first time and so far so good. They do make brakes for DD also not just performance.
