Picked up a beef loin at Costco and cut up into 1.25" NY strip loins for the bbq. My wife cubed the end cuts of the loin and made a delicious stew with some juices I kept from soux vide'ing beef and pork ribs.

Haha... I wouldn't want her to use the new knife to cut stewing beef... way too big! She used a 6" chef's.

Just had lunch at Johnny’s Hamburgers (Vic Park / Sheppard). Old school burger joint. Simple menu, great price, fantastic burger! Can’t beat sautéed onions. Portion size is huge.

Johnny's was one of my favorite burger joints when I lived in the area. So good.

Picked this up today. It’s pretty good. The ingredients, honey, chili peppers, and vinegar.

Mimi Bakery on Creditstone in Concord. They make specialty doughs and bread and have a small retail store at his location. Their potato focaccia was really good too.
