Do you find the virtual stuff translates over to your actual in car driving? By that I mean do you think the virtual in car hours translate to better car control/lap times IRL? Always wondered.

To be honest. It probably does a little bit, but not as much as you would think.
I think the simulator has helped me more understand race craft, racing lines and what certain adjustments to a car will do to how it drives.
The biggest problem for me, in the sim, you get zero idea of how fast you are actually going. There is no sense of speed.
Here's a video of one of the best sim racers to ever race trying out a real life car.
If I remember correctly he doesn't even have a drivers license
Pretty remarkable.

Round 6 tonight at Road America did not go well for me.
Qual'd 2nd. Was running 3rd with about 35mins to go. Got turned into the wall then TBoned. Was passing the slower class GT3 and he came down and turned me. Not really upset or disappointed. This is truly what multiclass racing is about... sometimes you get through clean... sometimes things like this happens.
Pretty impressive accident. Check it out
Timestamp of the broadcast. Incident happens at 35:32 left on the race clock.

Your two time winner this season.
Qual'd on the pole and lead every lap to pick up my second win of the season.
Happy to rebound after last weeks disaster of a race.
Slowly clawing my way back into Championship contention.
