Like putting 220V to a 120V light bulb.
How long do you think it will last?

A 7.3L pushrod motor in 2020 seems like a giant step backwards. Yes I get it is powerful but guys have been hitting crazy hp with much smaller Coyote and LS for years.

How about coming out with a lighter 4-5L V8 that makes crazy torque and 600+ HP while getting great mileage. Also a lighter V8 won’t weigh the front end down like a boat anchor and result in a car that can still handle.

I don't think it was made to go and get stuff at Walmart, now going to IKEA when they have a sale going on or picking up the newest big screen tv at Costco??

It was originally designed as a truck engine, so it should be incredibly reliable. Just shows you how far engine technology has come, to make tha much power out of a pushrod motor. Imagine it with aftermarket intake, aluminum heads, aftermarket cam and crank and headers. 800 horses without power adders!
