Any suggestions on a good quality Mirrorless camera?

I am considering upgrading to a mirrorless camera and will sell my NIkon DSLR. Budget is around $1000-$1500 with lenses. Any suggestions or personal experiences/reviews is welcome. Any thoughts on the Sony alpha line?

Don’t know much about them. I have a Canon DSLR, 60D I think. I like how I can flip the screen out so I can take pics at different angles so I can see what I’m shooting like if I wanted a crowd shot.

I think you can reuse your lenses on a mirrorless camera. So maybe look into a Nikon if they make such a thing.

Nikon does have mirrorless bodies (Z series) but they are above this price range, and the DSLR lenses can be used with full functionality with an adapter they released with the mirrorless series.

One more site when you narrow your choice down is PBase.com.
They have different camera manufacturers listed and most of there models have photos submitted by their owners.
Give you an idea of what some cameras are capable of in hands of " general amateur photogs".
    Happy hunting.

Yeah. When a buddy told me to check their site out years ago I thought he was sending me in the wrong direction.

Years ago my cousin introduced me to one of her girlfriends. We talked about jobs and she said she wanted to be a DP. I paused and then she said Director of Photography. lol

    Here we go again.
Last year we had posting bras for a mustang, then how to do videos, recently engine porn popped up and now dpreviews has come up.
As soon as this lock down is over I am going to my church and get down on my knees and pray to keep strong coming on this site.
