67 Cougar x 2...should have kept them!
They basically summed it up perfectly right near the end. The only person buying a ranger doesn't have enough parking space for an F150. They cost almost the same.
Hard sell for this size of truck in North America, with even Toyota and Nissan upsizing into this market. It is like all the car manufacturers discontinuing Focus, Fits, and running with SUV's
I was really hopeful with the release of the Ranger but when I see the 2.3 eco boost as the only motor coupled with it’s price tag I was quickly disappointed. I like the way the Ranger looks but hard not to pick some of the other alternatives out there.
I always liked the midsize pickup size as it’s easy to park and put in a garage still but if I was in the market for one today it would be a Toyota Tacoma. Otherwise I would just go full size F150 or RAM again and just deal with the parking inconvenience.

Don’t discount that 2.3EB in the Ranger. It’s a quick truck. Surprises a lot of people.
I had a nice Ranger XLT as a demo for a few months, I liked it. As Chris said, with the 2.3 EB it has plenty of snap.
