Ordered my 2018 GT on a rainy day in April picked it up from the dealer on a rainy day in June. Went to its first car show and it rained on the way there. However with the ceramic coating, on it, you’d almost not realize it was rained on.

While I do avoid the rain when possible, I’m no longer worried about it. Just gives me some extra time with one of my mistresses in the garage cleaning them.

LOL... found out the hard way on a cruise down to Woodward. Hit a quick down pour just on the other side of the border. luckily, my windshield was RainX'd. Now, I put the wipers on for long trips.

My cars have always been driven everywhere, any time. Rain, snow, mud, dust, construction sites, off road(well: bumpy fields), whatever. I don't buy cars to put them under bright lights in the garage and sit in a garden chair, looking at them. Cars are meant to be driven.

I try to avoid driving it in the rain only as I would like to avoid the cleanup. However if it gets caught in the rain or I really need to use it that day then so be it.

My car stays out side all summer. I just put a cover over it to avoid direct sunlight and a lot of water pooling on it. I love cleaning my car, gives me an excuse to leave the house for a couple of hours.
