I only drive my car in the rain........at the race track

I remember when I used to care. Not caring is so much better

My Jag has been sitting, under cover, in my mother-in-law's underground parking since December,

Agreed. You buy these things to be driven. While I understand if you washed your car then it gets rained on it sucks but to not drive it at all if it rains?

Some of us have OCD and prefer not to drive our garage queen's in the rain, especially when the underside is also detailed. Perks of owning a hoist.

The issue I have in the rain .Is my air filter is in the front fender well and it will vacuum up water like a hoover. Through the supercharger into the intercooler. Up the charge pipe then and only the the maf shuts me down. So yes I feel your pain. Keep it dry.

Rain makes corn, corn makes whiskey
Whiskey makes my baby feel a little frisky.

    Rain is a good thing.

You would be surprised how much water it doesn't pick up. Same set up on my Cobra, drove home from the track a few years ago with rain coming down so hard most could barely do 60kph, water deep enough it was buffeting against the floor, car had no issue.
