Old Sears Craftsman rubber hoses, keep patching all the leaks that spring up with new connectors.
I don't think the "new" craftsman are up to the standard yet. Thanks to Stanley.

We’ve got a couple of Hozelock hose reels. One with a standard 5/8” hose, and a smaller one with a 1/2” hose. The smaller one is much nicer as we find it provides more than enough volume, but the smaller hose seems to kink less.

I have several Flexon Heavy Duty hoses. Works great. A few of them are about 15 years old.

I have a couple of these 100’ Gardena things. Had them 2-3 years and the auto windup still works like a charm and it never kinks.

Do yourself a favour and make sure it's a rubber hose, not vinyl.
I agree with redo75, I have an ancient Craftsman rubber hose that will never quit.

Old school 3/4" black rubber hose. Had it for more than 20 years with zero issues. I bought it, 100 foot length, when we moved into our house. I cut it in half and put one half in the garage and the other half in the back yard. They hang on their holder all year long, even in the winter.
