    Question about 2005-2010 Convertibles

My brother is looking to buy a used convertible and I said why not Mustang. His concern is that he has to have room for his 6 foot son in the back seat. His price range puts him in the 2005-2010 range.

Could anyone comment on the back seat space? Is it like my 04, as in 2 inches between the seats or do the 197's have a bit more space?

My son’s friend is 6’4 and he’s squished for 10 mins max when I give him a lift from school
( ur Nephew has to sit back there to try before your brother buys- my son even moves front seat up)

    Some figs for 2010,2014,2005

Funny leg room seems to shrink with later years

    Thanks!!

The 04's rear legroom is 29.9 so the newer ones are about the same. Ideally my nephew would try it out except that their are very few in our area.

I think all 2+2 convertibles will not be friendly for tall people to sit in the back. May want to reconsider the type of vehicle and perhaps buy a Jeep with a removable hardtop to get the open air experience everyone can enjoy

Did a quick trip to Midland yesterday with my brother to pick up a convertible.............................1994 Camaro Z28, lol. Backseat as even less than a Mustang but the deal was cool, even trade for one of his snowmobiles. Needs a little tlc, but he's good with that.
