    Blast or paint aluminum intake?

I have a used aluminum intake I plan to install on the 66. It’s as clean as I can get it but still not very pretty. Should I have it blasted or just paint it. I’ve heard a benefit of painting is that it is easier to keep clean and it can always be touched up if necessary.

If I blast, any idea what it will cost?

Option 1................bead blasting leaves a new like finish but will get dirty n corrode over time
Option 2................Grey Hammertone leaves an aluminum like finish that is very durable (buy at Home Depot). We use it a bunch.

Seems option 2 FTW especially for a driver.

Not a pro, but I stayed at a Holiday Inn in 1983. Cheap version.
Strong purple cleaner or etching aluminum wheel cleaner, let soak in (NOTE; not too long) use a gas powered pressure washer outside and inside, paint with a Hi Temp engine spray can.
    Enjoy.
