I have covid at the moment. It’s a pain in the ass because it comes and goes. I feel fine one minute then the next my head is hot and I feel faint. Very low energy. No loss of appetite tho. Lol. It’s annoying but not something I’d take a highly unpredictable jab for. On that note to anyone who has lost a relative, we’re very sorry. And we’re not trying to offend you. God bless all TMC members and their families

Political motivation is different in England

Just read that with the CDC is backing off of some mandatory items and changing other definitions. The “apparent” reason is the Biden needs a win on something he has been pushing in his term. With the State of the Union speech on March 1, the thought is the US government will back off everything by them.

Wife got the sniffles. Tested negative the first day and then positive the following day.
Then everyone but the oldest boy got the same.
Sniffles and sore throats. That’s about it.

Seems silly not to work but will be closed for the next few days as per the rules.

Spend the morning picking away on shop stuff. But waiting on an insulation delivery. And missing parts for the heater so spent the afternoon self isolating in the bush cleaning up deadfall and collecting fire wood.

Where is the dividing line between leading, and simply following the wishes of the people?
If you have a credible, credentialed scientist who says "black" and another equally credible, credentialed scientist who says "white" which scientist do you listen to ?
Are scientists swayed by their own self interests, external forces, money or by virtue of being a scientist are they instantly more moral, honest and infallible ?
Does public opinion get shifted by media, entertainment, cultural forces with their own agendas ?
Does Hollywood seem like a good source of leadership?
Who is the biggest advertiser for legacy media?
When shortages come to roost will you blame the truckers?
