According to Tasca Ford online parts. Yes they do. It's so much easier to change one on a 1984. Simply open the glovebox all the way and its right there

    1984 part

    1993 part

you talking heater core... or the entire heater box assembly?

    Cores - yes -
    Box/assembly - NO.
The early fox boxes mount the firewall in a different manner - Controls, and ducting is different, even where they pull fresh air out of the cowl is different.

Yes agree ^^^ If you are talking about the entire heater box. Then no. I may have misread your question.

I'm talking complete heater box. I see I made a typo in my title which may have injected some confusion as well.

I have two 87+ heater boxes and a guy interested but he has an 82.

So far the answers I got have been, yes but the A/C - firewall holes are different. I got this info from a credible source however the buyer is all over the place (and has cold feet).

I've put in waay too much effort for a $50 item that I couldn't bring myself to throw out although I would like to help this guy out.

Thanks for the input so far. I've left this in the buyers hands to resolve.
