    2013 Ford Focus tcm

Tcm just went out on our 2013 focus and seems to be impossible to find the part. Anyone have any leads I could call for one?

There's a bunch of focus' there. A few Kenny's down that way. Parts are cheap and go get it yourself.

It’s covered under warranty because of tsb on it. Problem is it’s so back ordered it could take months to get it fixed.

FWIW, there is a huge supplier issue with these. We've had some on order for customers going back to late last summer. Currently Ford is showing over 26,000 pieces on back order for the North American warehouses, with no specific ETA for arrival.

That’s what I was told by the dealer. Could be months to get the part. They said they have to submit a claim to get a rental car for that long. I’m not holding my breath for that to be approved. Guess we’ll see what happens over the next week or so when they can get the car in to pull the codes I’ve already pulled.

Dealer called on Friday and part is on order. Since it’s undrivable they went through a different channel and hopefully will have it in a couple weeks. Not holding my breath for that. Now to work on getting a rental paid for.
