    TPMS Retainer Clips

Hey guys, anyone know where to get 4 of the plastic tpms retainer clips?

Took my tires off my 20" Explorer wheels, to get them sandblasted & powder coated. Went to remove the tpms sensors & all (4) of the retainer clips snapped. All brittle as hell, was bound to happen.

    Appreciate any leads.

    Thanks!

They are available as a separate part from Ford, but they make us order them in a large package quantity. Where are you located? I'm thinking that I may have some in stock at the dealership (Kennedy Ford - Oakville).

Couldn’t you use valve stem TPMS instead?

The OEM Ford valve stem style TPMS aren't interchangeable with the band mount version on the older vehicles. However I believe there are aftermarket valve stem style sensors that would work. But if he can get some replacement clips for the old sensors for a few bucks, that would seem to make more sense I think.

    Thanks guys!

Gotta make a decision to reuse the OEM sensors or replace them with valve type.

Either way, rims are going to get done soon. Will decide when it's time for new tires.

Will keep yall posted with before & after pics.
