Don't think mine counts since it's an 05.

had a ticking lifter on my 302, used seafoam in the crankcase as directed. Seemed to do the trick.

Nothing to lose except a few bux.

I also use it occasionally thru the intake on my 3.0L to avoid the dreaded Vulcan carbon buildup ping.

Maybe this one is applicable. Provides a good diagnostic method.

Comes and goes at random. Sometimes when I just start up, sometimes after the car has been warm for a very hours.

According to the issue part, mine isn't related. I will read it again when I get to my computer, since I am currently on my phone.

If it was mine, would dump a full can of SeaFoam into the oil (engine hot) and allow it to idle only for about 20 minutes. Dump oil, change filter and fill with 10w30 full synthetic and drive.

How does this work if I wanted to do it.

Get home after commute (hot engine) open oil fill cap and dump in a can of seafoam.

Turn engine back on and idle for a 20 min smoke show?

Will The extra volume of the can of seafoam be dangerous in the crankcase?

Afterward change oil and filter and hammer down?
