AC Tools - Looking to rent, buy or borrow

    Hi

My new AC won’t hold a vacuum.

Does anyone have AC gauges and a vacuum pump they are willing to lend, rent or sell?

The proper way is to pressurize the system with conformal gas & find the leak with an electronic detector.
A budget way would be to pressurize with air & use a soapy solution in a spray bottle

I gave the budget way a try this evening and darn if I didn’t find a leak between the expansion valve and the evaporator.
