    Since the headers have no shielding on them, I worry the heat might mess things up.

    Is it overkill? Yes. Am I happier knowing certain things are protected from the heat? Yes.

    Also torqued the nuts on the headers again since it’s been through a heat cycle. Less than a quarter turn for each nut. Will check again in a week.

    some upgrades for the trailer. replacing the factory plastic bushings and standard bolts with brass bushings and wet bolts.
    and upgrading to a damper shackle

    should add some life and smooth out the ride. as usual the shop Forman is overlooking things.

    Good idea on wrap. Where did you pick those up from and what did they cost?

    Amazon. About $45 each. There are cheaper knockoffs but who knows what materials they’re actually made of.
