    Looking to have attic insulated !

    Anyone in the business or know of anyone that would like to give me an estimate for blown in fiberglass. Thanks G>

    Will be doing this soon also. Had an energy audit done recently so just waiting on the report so I can get the rebate on the work - it's the one thing they pointed out on-site (since we knew the furnace was already a goner at 22 years).

    I’m not sure if it’s still available from them, but I used Costco to have it done at my house. See if they have a flyer on the wall on your way out.

    They use Northern Insulation, I am getting a quote from them also, just not thru Costco.

    Well the pay back is going to take a while, to have my attic brought up to R60, proper ventilation and soffit baffles, etc , etc, $2,330.00, allot more than I had anticipated, but like everything else it has doubled in price !

    ^^^ No audit, but there were bare spots in my attic, & the balance of the insulation was flat ! we are doing it more for comfort , top floor is just too warm at night compared to the main floor ,it's gotta help !

    Yes, I'm sure it will. I don't have bare spots but the 22-year old stuff has settled so recommendation is to add more back in.
