    That's a shame.

    I really think the 60's were the peak for female vocalists.

    You had Grace Slick from Jefferson Airplane/Starship, Janis Joplin, Mamma Cass from Mamma the Papas, and Judith Durham. I'm sure I'm missing some.

    I would include Cher and don't forget Debbie Harry, she was in groups in the late 60's before fame in Blondie.

    I actually thought Debbie Harry was from the 70s
