    Lower Control arms

I believe in '88, fox front lower control arms where an Inch longer than the previous —does anyone know if the angle of the ball joint was changed? —or did the top of the shock also move outwards as well? —or was the shock itself modified with a longer stroke...?

Crossmember is wider on 87-93 5.0 cars, control arms are the same dimensions. 87-88 T-Bird Turbo Coupe then SN95 control arms got the added 1".

if in a rush for an answer and the above member isn't so quick and generous with a reply, I'd go to Maximum Motorsports and look at the control arm offerings and look for differences there. Probably be able to "self serve" other q/a that might crop up as well.

thanks —I thought the '88 Mustang had more tracking change from the previous years —I imagine the tops of the shock towers in the tbird and jellies was offset to match that change in tracking or maybe just setup at a different angle. Thanks it will give me a few more areas to research
