    Garage recommendations in North Toronto

Good evening . Greetings to all members of the club. Can anyone shed light on a check engine issue. I have an 2007 Mustang GT with 138k kms. cylinder no 4 was misfiring. I had a mechanic replace all spark plugs and coils as this was the 2nd coil to fail in a few months and I wasn't going to wait for the 3rd one to fail. But now the check engine light will not go out.
Mechanic says the computer error code suggesting that the timing chain guide is wearing, and that it need to be replaced along with the timing chain.
Has any one had similar issues and how was it resolved?

When it comes to coil packs on Mustangs, only reliable option is OEM Ford.

Suggest starting with code its showing and work outwards from there. If it currently has a misfire, stop driving now, will only cause more problems.
Need it looked over, pm me is best.
