OK, thanks.
I wouldn't go to Oliver.
That asshole or one of his staff would likely give you a low ball figure.
Ask about the watch on some watch forums.
There's bound to be some knowledgeable people there.
Nothing too fancy but was intrigued by this Tissot piece when it first came out about 4 years ago (?) and had a chance to try it on in London back in 2017 but then forgot about it until I saw a pic recently. It was a limited edition run and no longer listed in their catalog or from most retailers. I did see online that someone asked them how many they produced and the number was 3,500 which seems low for a mass producer like Tissot (using a Swiss mechanical manual wind ETA movement). Anyway, I liked the retro pocket watch styling with the Hunter Case-Back as a reference to the 1930's and railroad style watches so figured I'd try and pick one up while I can still find one. Hopefully there is stock to complete my order and it'll actually arrive in the next couple weeks.

It's a homage to this 1930's pocket watch:

Couple new to me watches
First is a Marathon GSAR (Government Search and Rescue) automatic that is given to the Canadian Navy and US Marines, this was gifted to me.
Second is a Tag Heuer Carerra Automatic
Nice - been admiring those Marathons for a while now. Not many Canadian owned companies on the watchmaking list.
The Marathon reminds me of my Seamaster, especially the bezel.
The Marathon is a very nice piece, very solid piece of billet.
Very pleased with the Tag
Finally got the Zenith across the border recently - as a dress watch it wears smaller than others which range 42-45mm. Powered by Zenith's El Primero 4069 Chrono movement. That dial though......

Trying to decide between these two black/gold Flyback Chronographs (I have a white dial version already with blue'd hands which is more readable but do like the black/gold combo even though they are harder to read)..........
