Drake fuel door

Most people don't like these but I thought they look kinda cool so I bought one. almost $200 after covert from US $ and shipping. A rip-off. I know!
Nevertheless, I got it and watched the install video and It looked easy so I tried it. The original one came off pretty easy but the new one just wouldn't click in. I started getting frustrated and started forcing it and broke the little plastic tabs that are supposed to line up with the car.
Long story short I ordered a new one and asked my dealership If they would install it and they agreed. I'm going there this aft.
Has anybody had any experience with this?

I put one on my 09…. Dunno if it was a Drake…. Had no issues

Went to my dealership to have the fuel door installed and they couldn't do it either. So now I'm going to return it to the US
The shipping is going to cost me almost as much as the part itself

Yes American Racing also sells them. I got mine from PJPony.
It looks great. I wish I could find one that fits my car.

Mine is a 2022
