Hello, I just signed up to this

I’m a long time owner of a 94 Gt convertible mustang. Looking to lower the car. I can’t decide between lowering springs or a coil over. Any advice?

All depends on goals with the car.....IF just a driver I'd go strut/shock replacement (if OEM or due) and a good lowering spring....several diff manufactures to choose from for both.

Welcome to the TMC. Make sure to have the budget for a good set of full length subframe connectors for your 94 vert otherwise you may be disappointed with the other components.

    Hi n welcome to TMC.
Lowering with springs and shocks, Bilsteins combined with H&R springs gives reliable results every time. If your going coil overs, either Bilsteins (or if budget will allow Koni double adjustables) all round with Maximum Motorsports coil over kits and springs. Yet to find one of those off the shelf coil over kits that ride n handle worth a darn (unless you step up to high end like Vorslag or similar but expect to spend large). No matter what you choose, sub frame connectors will tighten up the car and make the suspension work n feel just that much better (especially on a vert).
If you need help choosing, just reach out. We also have a great source for parts in our club sponsor Lou at Barone Performance.

    Welcome to TMC!

Built not bought! Follow this link to my 08 GT/CS Air Lift Performance Suspension Install Thread or this link to my Garage Thread

My biggest fear is when I die my wife will sell my car and parts for what I told her they cost!
