    TV and Internet service providers

Are there any TV and Internet service providers in the Toronto area that are better, cheaper and more reliable than Rogers and Bell or is one basically stuck with one of those two devils?

Rogers wants to end digital cable in the near future and switch/force everyone to Ignite which appears to have problems.

I have ignite, it seems to work fine. Regular TV is horrible now, basically keep it as it is cheaper to bundle than have standalone internet.

These days I only watch some limited “news”, weather and some sports. Rest is pretty much garbage.

    Check out Carry Telecom
My brother in law uses them and has been happy. Just get a better package as they charge heavily to upgrade afterwards.

If you still have cable TV you've never heard of iptv.

Thousands of channels all ppv, f1 and all local shit too etc...ill never have cable TV again. Rogers high speed for 39.99 and that's it.

We made the switch to IPTV about 6 months ago and will never go back to cable for the price alone. We piggy backed on a friends subscription for a few months to give it a try before cancelling our Shaw and making the switch. We had no issue with Shaw (actually they were the best provider we had ever had) other than the price, just like the other big players. We now pay for a year what we used to pay for one month.

Neither am I Mav. Had a guy I work with set it all up. I bought 2 firesticks when they were 50% off, he loaded them up and set it all up. I pay the provider directly but that's the easy part.
