2011 GT brakes - Help - what brakes do I have.

I am replacing my front brakes and was at car quest and they were having a little trouble figuring out what I needed - first person to order brakes for this style mustang in town. I assume I have the two piston calipers (non brembo) on my GT. It does save something about heavier duty brakes as part of the 19 inch rims/strut tower option it has on the window sticker. I assume the 4 piston must be the brembos.

The info on the car quest computer wasn't very clear. Can anyone clarify for me.

Path of least resistance = go with OEM Ford parts. If your set on non OEM, need to know rotor diameter and your all set.

If it was mine, I'd go with first line Ford.
On a side note, recently did one with Hawk pads, impressive results.

If you give the Ford parts dept the vin, they'll know exactly what you have. Aftermarket has been a tic slow figuring out part numbers for the newer Mustangs brakes.

This is the Raybestos number for the Gt non Brembo brakes.

My cpu shows the part numbers fine, must be the store you are going too.

As a side note, carquest brakes are re-boxed china junk no matter what the colour they claim it to be. I just checked their site and it is straight forward as to 4 piston brembo or 2 piston standard brakes.
