    Truck Tires...

After less than three years worth of use, the Goodyear Wrangler All-Terrain with Kevlar "summer" tires on my 2020 F150 have lost wet weather grip. There is plenty of tread left and probably less than 30000km (I have a set of dedicated snows) on them but they suck in the wet. What are you, my fellow TMC truck owners, running for tires?

    Thanks
    Stephen

To actually answer the question. I run Toyo open country R/T
They have been really good, I’m pushing 80k km on them and as they have worn they are getting louder but handle towing fine look great and when I’m dragging wood out of the bush or pulling a trailer out of the mud they have been fantastic. But as I said they aren’t great in the rain. Not dangerous but noticeable if the roads are wet and you drive “spirited”

I do run a dedicated winter so can’t speak to snow and ice.

Mind taking an actual photo of the tires Rick? I have the same tire as OP on my wife’s SUV but they have a distinctively thick sidewall that I really like, haven’t seen another tire quite the same, and don’t really want to buy Goodyears to replace them when the time comes next year.

BFGoodrich KO2’s on the F150. Look great and are pretty decent.

I was going to just go with the Goodyear's again cause I know the tire and it's actually better than the ratings would suggest IMO... but only for the first couple years as they start to fall off very quickly after that, however when I went to go see about them... I thought I'd check if they had these and they threw me a deal for a minimal amount over the good years so I said screw it, I'll try them as they do have much higher class rating.

Only thing I'm going to miss is the raised White lettering... most people won't care about that so not an issue but I admit I do like that look, specially against the White truck...
