When my kids went to school we checked local listings for private residents or what the campus had to offer (residence) usually shared. Sometimes you can find shared private listings as well. When my son had a private shared basement it was more $ than residence from the school. Residence was closer to the school. Not too sure an agent will waste too mush time on a one bedroom. Facebook Kijijj maybe?
