Nope, Taurus or Cobra fans spikes huge on start up.

Taurus is approximately 88 amps if using the High side.

I'm willing to bet the '03/'04 Cobra is equal or better.

A little.lost in the convo so the controller I have would not work.and a cobra fan would be better. What relay would I need?

Controller you have is not rated high enough (amps) to handle either Taurus or Cobra fan.

Sadly that is all too common. Demand for them is always high. Wish someone else made a unit of that quality.

The better of the two Flex-a-lite controllers will also manage the fans in question. It's not cheap either, but at least it's available.
